Recruitment details
Ministry of Power invites applications for the post of Chairperson in the Central Electricity Authority under Section 70 of the Electricity Act, 2003 and applicable CEA rules. Maximum age is 58 years as on 1 June 2027. Eligible candidates include specified Central/State Government, UT, autonomous/statutory and public-sector officers meeting the notified Level-15/Level-14 service conditions and at least three years' experience in the relevant field. The Chairperson may hold office for a period not exceeding five years or until superannuation.
