Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education invites applications for Director, IIT Mandi. The Director is the academic and administrative head. Essential profile: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree, preferably in Engineering; at least five years' experience at Professor level and ten years' teaching/industry/research experience. The applicant should preferably be below 60 years. Appointment is for five years or until age 70, whichever is earlier. Pay: ₹2,25,000 fixed per month plus normal allowances. Applications in the prescribed format should reach the Ministry by 31 October 2026.
