Employment News pages 41–45. Naval Dockyard Karwar 180 seats and Naval Aircraft Yard Goa 30 seats. Karwar: 161 one-year and 19 two-year seats. Eligible ITI trades include COPA, electrician, electronics mechanic, fitter, machinist, welder and others; non-ITI trades have separate standards. Register at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and forward printed application and self-attested documents within 30 days from Employment News publication. Minimum age 14 for non-hazardous and 18 for hazardous trades; no upper age limit stated. Selection includes merit, written exam and document verification. Written examination expected January 2027; training expected from 12 April 2027.
