Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 04/2026. The recruitment covers various Junior Engineer disciplines, Depot Material Superintendent and, following Corrigendum No. 1, Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant. The revised total is 4,029 vacancies. Posts are in Pay Level 6 of the 7th CPC with initial pay of ₹35,400. Application fee
₹500 for candidates not covered by the concessional fee categories; ₹250 for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD/Female/Transgender/Minority/Economically Backward Class candidates. Candidates appearing in CBT-1 are eligible for the prescribed refund: ₹400 from the ₹500 fee or ₹250 from the ₹250 fee, subject to applicable bank charges and official conditions.
Age information
18 to 33 years as on 01-01-2027. Applicable relaxation is available for eligible reserved and other categories as prescribed in CEN 04/2026.
Selection process
First Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1), Second Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-2), Document Verification and Medical Examination. Final empanelment is subject to merit, document verification and prescribed medical fitness.
